Robot Wars Extreme (RWE) was the name given to two special spin-off series of Robot Wars. RWE differed from the main series as it was more about the competitors taking part in smaller competitions such as Tag Team, All Star and Annihilators rather than a single championship.
Series 1 was filmed around the time of Robot Wars Series 5 in 2001, and Series 2 was filmed around the time of Robot Wars Series 6 in 2002.
